Planting decorative grasses in containers and flowerbeds:
Grasses are good to plant and transplant in the spring, always after cutting back dried blades. Soak the dried root system in water for about 30 minutes. Remove the seedling from the container, gently loosen the roots, and remove the dead parts. The plant should be planted at the depth at which it grew in the container. The new container should be a few to several cm wider and higher than the one where the grass is growing. At the bottom of the container pour soil, place the plant so that the top of the root mass is 3-4 cm below the edge of the pot, fill with soil, slightly compress. Pit prepared in the garden should have a diameter of twice the diameter of the root mass of the grass and be half the height. After planting, water the plant thoroughly, and after a few days you can replenish the settled soil. Lack of water can cause death and slow growth.
Fertilization:
A slow-release, multi-component fertilizer is recommended and granules are best mixed into the soil after vegetation has started around greening plants.
