Sowing:

Vegetable seeds are best sown in small containers or seedling trays. Loosen the soil from the bag and moisten slightly. Fill the containers with soil, slightly compress, sow the seeds and cover with a thin layer of soil. Keep the substrate slightly moist at all times.

Planting/replanting:

Select an adequate pot for the seedling. At the bottom place a drainage layer of expanded clay or small pebbles. Fill it 1/3 full with soil, plant, top up with soil, slightly compress it leaving about 2 cm of free space from the top edge of the container. Water generously after planting and then moderately but regularly water the plants. Do not over water.

Planting in the garden:

Fertilization:

Herbs have relatively low nutrient requirements. Annual plants in the planting do not need fertilizing. They should be fertilized as needed.

Perennial plants should be fertilized during their period of intensive growth in late spring and summer with a suitable fertilizer according to the directions on how to use it.

Herbs in the garden should be fertilized more intensively.
