Sowing:
Vegetable seeds are best sown in small containers or seedling trays. Loosen the soil from the bag and moisten slightly. Fill the containers with soil, slightly compress, sow the seeds and cover with a thin layer of soil. Keep the substrate slightly moist at all times.
Planting/transplanting:
Select an adequate pot for the seedling. At the bottom place a drainage layer of expanded clay or small gravel. Fill it 1/3 full with soil, plant, top up with soil, slightly compress it leaving about 2 cm of free space from the top edge of the container. Water generously after planting and then moderately but regularly water the plants. Do not over water.
Planting in the garden:
Avoid areas that are too moist and shady. When preparing the site for planting, mix KRONEN® BIO Soil for vegetables with soil in proportion 1:1, then plant. If the soil in the garden is too waterlogged and impermeable create a raised bed.
