KRONEN® Soil for roses
KRONEN® Soil for roses is an excellent specialized substrate for planting and transplanting roses and other intensively growing shrubs, requiring a fertile, structurally stable substrate. It is produced on the base of fractions of raised bog peat of varying degrees of decomposition containing ECOFIBREX® (wood fiber additive). The substrate contains mineral clay, which stabilizes the water conditions of the substrate, stores nutrients and has buffering properties.

Roses can be grown in containers, gardens and seedlings. Plantings can be done from spring to autumn.
Planting and transplanting:
When planting or transplanting into containers, carefully take out the root ball, gently clean it of dead roots, if it is dried out immerse it for about 1 minute in water at room temperature. Put part of the soil into the pot, place the plant in the container, add the remaining soil, water the first time generously. Maintain constant moderate moisture.
Planting roses in gardens:
Prepare a pit twice the diameter of the plant's root system. Mix the soil excavated from the pit with KRONEN Soil for roses in a ratio of 1:1, loosen the bottom of the pit. Put part of the prepared soil into the bottom of the pit, place the plant in the pit. Fill in the remaining amount of soil and firmly compact, form a border around the plant to retain water. Water generously after planting. Take care of constant even moisture until the plant roots, especially during rainless periods.
Fertilization:
The nutrients in the substrate are sufficient for about 4-6 weeks. After this period, start fertilizing with KRONEN Fertilizer for roses.
CAUTION: substrates containing wood fibres and compost should be very carefully fluffed up before use, as during production and transport they become more compacted.
