KRONEN^® Substrate for the planting and cultivation of lawns is an excellent specialized substrate for the planting and cultivation of existing lawns. KRONEN^® Substrate for planting and cultivating lawns is produced on the basis of lightly and heavily decomposed raised bog peat. This substrate contains an optimum dose of multicomponent fertilizer with micronutrients, necessary for proper plant vegetation. The fine texture of the product ensures proper contact between the seeds and the substrate, improving the quality and density of the grass plants.

KRONEN^® Substrate for starting and maintaining lawns is a fine-textured, easy-to-moisturise, moisture-retaining substrate that aids sprouting and promotes lawn recovery and regeneration. A substrate with a high content of organic matter, humic acids and essential nutrients. Contains a fertiliser with slow release of nutrients and iron chelate to prevent moss growth. A substrate for starting and maintaining lawns in a new formula - better adapted to changing weather conditions.

Lawn regeneration:

Every lawn needs regeneration after a long period of use. A lawn aerating and scarifying treatment is recommended for the regeneration to be fully successful. Afterwards, areas where the grass is completely dead should be dug up at shallow depth and the soil should be mixed with KRONEN^® Substrate for starting and maintaining lawns, levelled and rolled. Sow grass seed on the areas prepared in this manner, re-till and water them.

Before sowing grass, spread the lawn substrate on the surface and mix it in with the soil to a shallow depth. Good sprouting can also be obtained by covering the mix of lawn seeds mixed with soil and pressed with a roller with a several centimetres thick layer. Covering protects the sown seeds from being washed out by heavy rains.
