KRONEN® Pure peat

KRONEN® Acidic peat pH 3,5-4,5. Regulated by chalk pH of the substrate determines optimal conditions for growth of particular plant species.

KRONEN® Pure peat comes from raised bog peat grounds subject to renaturing after exploitation. The peat is characterized by a low degree of decomposition. The peat stores water and nutrients well. It improves the structure of the soil by loosening up and aeration. The product is used for the preparation of horticultural substrates and the cultivation of acid-loving plants. KRONEN® Pure peat can be used as a substrate, a base for the production of substrates, or as an additive. The standard fraction of this peat ranges from 0 to 25 mm. Substrates with this structure are suitable for growth and development for most plant species.
