KRONEN® Soil for rhododendrons
KRONEN® Soil for rhododendrons, azaleas, hydrangeas and heathers is designed for planting and transplanting acid-loving plants (requiring low pH) with low nutritional requirements such as rhododendrons, azaleas, heathers, blueberries, garden ferns, blue hydrangeas and dwarf coniferous shrubs.
The product is produced on the base of raised bog peat with ECOFIBREX® (wood fiber additive). The contained micronutrients stimulate the development of inflorescences and guarantee beautiful green leaves.

Planting in containers:
Pour a small amount of soil into the bottom of the container, place the plant, top up with soil 2 cm below the edge of the pot, slightly compress, and water generously.
Repotting:
Young plants or plants in small containers should be repotted once a year, older plants every 2-3 years. Repot in early spring or after flowering, preferably to a larger container. The root ball should be carefully removed, gently cleaned from dead roots, dried and immersed for about 1 minute in water at room temperature. Place the plant in the container add soil. Water generously the first time.
Planting in the garden:
When planting plants in the garden, dig a hole twice the diameter of the root ball. Mix the soil from the hole with KRONEN® multipurpose soil in a 50/50 ratio. Fill the hole 1/3 full with the prepared mix, place the plant, add the mix, slightly compress it, and form a roll of soil around the plant to prevent water drainage. Water generously.
Fertilization:
To fertilize balcony plants, vegetables and herbs in containers, we recommend using season-acting Balls KRONEN® Fertilizer for balcony and terrace plants. For garden plants and vegetables we recommend KRONEN® Organic-Mineral Fertilizer for vegetables and garden plants.
CAUTION: substrates containing wood fibres and compost should be very carefully fluffed up before use, as during production and transport they become more compacted.
