KRONEN® Soil for heathers and ericas
KRONEN® Soil for heathers and ericas is designed for planting and transplanting plants with low nutrient requirements and requiring a low pH. It is produced from high peat of varying degrees of decomposition with the addition of ECOFIBREX® wood fibres. The substrate contains a humidifier and a multi-component fertiliser with micro-nutrients, completely soluble in water and easily absorbed by the root system. The right combination of these components produced a substrate with a light, airy structure and good drainage properties. The structure of this substrate ensures an even and healthy growth of the root ball.
Available in: 20L bags.
KRONEN® Soil for heathers and ericas is produced from high peat of varying degrees of decomposition with the addition of ECOFIBREX® wood fibres. The right combination of these components has resulted in a substrate with a light, airy structure
and good drainage properties. The structure of this substrate ensures an even and healthy growth of the root ball.
KRONEN® Soil for heathers and ericas contains a humidifier and a multi-component fertiliser with micro-nutrients that is completely soluble in water and easily absorbed by the root system. The substrate contains a starter dose of fertiliser. The micro-elements it contains stimulate the development of inflorescences and guarantee deep green foliage. The pH of the substrate, which is in the range of 4.8 to 5.2, meets the requirements of acid-loving plants.
The substrate uses components in the right quantities and fractions to meet the requirements of this group of plants.
A moisturiser is a substance that facilitates hydration, uptake and even distribution of water in the substrate. This is a property that is particularly useful in heated rooms and during the summer.
The substrate contains a multi-component fertiliser with micro-nutrients that is completely soluble in water and easily absorbed by the root system. The dose of fertiliser meets the nutritional requirements of the plants over a period of 3-4 weeks.
The ECOFIBREX® wood fibre optimizes the conditions for root ball development; It improves drainage, loosens the structure and increases air and water capacity.
The pH of the substrate, which is in the range of 4.8 to 5.2, provides the optimum environment for the development and growth of most plants, with the exception of acid-loving plants.
Planting and transplanting: It is best to use the KRONEN® Soil for heathers from March to November. For new plantings, dig a hole twice the diameter of the plant’s root ball. Mix the KRONEN® substrate for heathers with the previously dug soil at a ratio of 50/50 and partially fill the hole with it. Place the plant in the hole, fill in the missing soil and compact it lightly. After the planting, water the plant generously and do not allow the substrate to dry out completely.
Caution: substrates containing wood fibres should be loosened very thoroughly before use, as they become very compressed during production and transport.
Keep in a dry place in a tightly closed packaging. Protect it from adverse weather conditions. In case of long-term or improper storage, the properties of the substrate may change. Use protective gloves when planting.
