When planting and transplanting, the containers should be large enough so that the distance of the wall to the root ball is not less than 10cm. Pour a small amount of soil on the bottom of the container, place the plant, top up with soil 2-3cm below the edge of the pot, slightly compact, water generously. In cultivation, it is important to have holes at the bottom of the pot and a thin drainage layer to improve water flow. Plants should be repotted every 2-3 years.

Old soil, felted, dead root parts should be gently removed with a wooden spatula.

Worth knowing:

Unlike our fruit trees, almost all citrus trees flower, set fruit, and ripen simultaneously. Many of them smell beautifully thanks to the essential oils in their leaves, such as lemons. Figs in our climate shed their leaves so those grown in containers can spend winter in basements and those planted in the ground can stay outside in winter.
